Fourier smoothed volume zone oscillator built around a fast ribbon. The main idea is that it can start turning before price does. It looks at directional volume and uses that to pick up shifts in pressure early, so the ribbon can flip while price is still moving the other way. That makes it useful as a mean reversion oscillator, especially around the overbought and oversold zones, but it can also help catch the early stages of a new trend when that reversal starts to carry through. The ribbon is the main signal, with trend-shift markers to make flips easier to spot. There’s also an optional Momentum Velocity layer if you want a slower, broader momentum read alongside it. So the point of FSVZO isn’t really to confirm a move after it happens. It’s to give you an earlier read on when the underlying pressure is starting to change.
