OpenMarket Marketplace Terms
Version 2026-08-19. The terms every seller agrees to before listing and every buyer accepts at checkout.
The deal, in one paragraph
OpenMarket runs the marketplace and processes every payment. Sellers list indicators; buyers get instant, account-bound access that runs on our servers. Sellers keep 80% of every sale. All sales are final.
For buyers
What you buy
Access to run an indicator on your OpenMarket account. The source code never leaves our servers and is not part of the purchase.
Pricing
Each listing is either a one-time purchase or a monthly subscription (cancel anytime; access ends when the paid period ends). A one-time purchase keeps working for your account even if the listing is later delisted; delisting only stops new sales. All updates included.
All sales are final
No refunds, no trials-by-refund. Preview the listing page, the captured screenshots, and what verified buyers say before you buy.
Chargebacks
A chargeback or payment dispute immediately revokes access and removes your verdicts. Accounts that abuse disputes lose marketplace access.
License
Personal, non-transferable, one account. No sharing, reselling, redistributing, or attempting to extract source. Bundles grant each component script individually.
Reviews
Only verified buyers can post a verdict. One verdict per buyer, editable. Fake, traded, or incentivized reviews are removed and can cost both sides their marketplace access.
Not financial advice
Indicators are tools. Nothing on the marketplace is a recommendation to buy or sell anything, and past performance shown in any listing proves nothing about the future.
For sellers
Fees and payouts
The platform fee is 20% per sale (minimum $0.50), deducted automatically at payment time. Payouts go through Stripe to your connected account; sale proceeds become payable after a 14-day clearing period. Taxes on buyer payments are handled by the platform at checkout; payouts to you are gross of your own income taxes (your responsibility, plus Stripe's KYC).
You own what you list
Only list scripts you wrote or hold full rights to. Reposting someone else's work, including renamed or lightly modified copies, is a delisting on first offense.
Where you can sell
Sellers can onboard from the countries Stripe Express supports: United States, Australia, Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, Canada, Croatia, Cyprus, Czechia, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Gibraltar, Greece, Hong Kong, Hungary, Ireland, Italy, Japan, Latvia, Liechtenstein, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Malta, Mexico, Netherlands, New Zealand, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Singapore, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, United Arab Emirates, United Kingdom. Your payout country is fixed when your Stripe account is created and cannot change later. Stripe-prohibited and sanctioned jurisdictions can never sell or receive payouts — including Cuba, Iran, North Korea, Syria, Russia, Belarus, and the Crimea, Donetsk and Luhansk regions of Ukraine.
Honest listings
No guaranteed-profit claims, no fabricated performance, no misleading screenshots (listing previews are captured from a real chart for this reason). Describe what the indicator actually does.
Pricing and changes
You choose one-time or monthly when you list — never both. A listing's price is fixed once it is published; to change it, stop the listing and relist at the new price. Existing subscribers keep the price they signed up at.
Delisted, not deleted
Listing a script is permanent for that script: once listed, it can no longer be deleted from your account, even after you stop selling it. Delist at any time to end new sales; buyers keep the access they purchased.
No hostile code
No attempts to exfiltrate data, phone home, mine, or degrade the platform. Scripts run sandboxed server-side; trying to break that sandbox ends the seller relationship.
Support your work
Keep listed scripts functional. Broken listings that stay broken after notice get paused.
Refund posture
The platform does not offer buyers refunds. Stripe-side disputes and platform-initiated refunds (fraud, billing errors) are decided by the platform; when money returns to a buyer, the seller's share claws back from pending or future payouts.
Seller replies
One public reply per buyer comment. No soliciting reviews, no review swaps.
Enforcement
Violations can lead to, in escalating order: listing pause, delisting, payout suspension, marketplace ban, account termination. Fraud (fake sellers, fake buyers, review manipulation, stolen scripts, stolen cards) skips the ladder. The platform can remove any listing at any time; owed, clean payouts are still paid out on the normal schedule. Updated terms govern from their version date; the version in effect at the time of a sale governs that sale.
Disputes and contact
Problems go to support first (the in-app Reach out). Buyers and sellers agree to attempt resolution through the platform before any external claim.
Fees stated plainly
The platform fee is 20% of each sale with a $0.50 minimum, deducted automatically at payment time; the remainder pays out to the seller via Stripe after the 14-day clearing period. Listing a script on the marketplace means agreeing to these terms, including this fee.
