OpenMarket Marketplace Terms

The deal, in one paragraph

Authors list packages at a price; buyers pay from their OpenMarket wallet in USDC. A one-time purchase grants access for good; a subscription grants access a month at a time and renews from the wallet until cancelled, with access running to the end of the paid period. The author receives 80% of every payment and OpenMarket 20%. Network fees are sponsored by OpenMarket. All sales are final: there are no automatic refunds.

Accepting these terms, whether on a publish, a listing, a plan or a purchase, is a representation you make to OpenMarket. It is recorded against your account, with the version you accepted, when you accept. When the terms change, an action that requires acceptance needs the new version accepted first.

• You are not a sanctioned person: not named on the U.S. OFAC Specially Designated Nationals list or an equivalent list, and not owned or controlled by anyone who is.
• You are not located in, organized under the laws of, or ordinarily resident in Cuba, Iran, North Korea, or the Crimea, Donetsk or Luhansk regions of Ukraine, and you do not use OpenMarket from there.
• You are responsible for your own taxes on what you pay and on what you receive; OpenMarket collects and remits none on your behalf.

What you buy

A grant on your OpenMarket account to install and run the package. A one-time purchase is perpetual: it keeps working for your account even if the author later discontinues the package. A subscription grants the same access one billing period (a month) at a time.

What a subscription is

A recurring payment from your OpenMarket wallet, in USDC, for one period of access at the price shown on the package page when you subscribed. Each renewal buys the next period; the grant's expiry moves forward with every paid period and never backwards.

Renewal from the wallet

At the end of each period the next payment is taken from your wallet. If the wallet cannot cover it, nothing is charged, nothing is owed, and access ends when the paid period ends; topping up and subscribing again starts a new period.

Cancel any time

Cancelling stops future renewals. Access continues to the end of the period already paid for, then the grant expires. No cancellation fee, no notice period.

No automatic refunds

Payments settle on-chain and are final: neither a cancellation nor a discontinued package produces a refund by itself. A refund is decided by OpenMarket case by case (a billing error, a package that never worked); when one is issued it is paid back to the wallet that paid.

Network fees are sponsored

OpenMarket pays the network fees on purchases, renewals and cancellations. The price on the page is the whole price.

License

Personal, non-transferable, one account. No sharing, reselling or redistributing the package or what it produces.

Not financial advice

Packages are tools. Nothing on the registry is a recommendation to buy or sell anything, and past performance shown in any listing proves nothing about the future.

Fees and payouts

The author receives 80% of every payment and OpenMarket 20% of each sale, split at settlement time on-chain; nothing is held back and there is no clearing period. Payouts land in the payout owner named by the package's plan. Taxes on what you receive are your own responsibility.

You own what you list

Only list packages you wrote or hold full rights to. Reposting someone else's work, including renamed or lightly modified copies, is a delisting on first offense.

Where you can sell

Wallet-paid packages sell from anywhere a wallet can sign, except the comprehensively sanctioned jurisdictions: Cuba, Iran, North Korea, and the Crimea, Donetsk and Luhansk regions of Ukraine. A sanctioned person can never sell, buy or receive payouts, wherever they are.

Honest listings

No guaranteed-profit claims, no fabricated performance, no misleading descriptions. Describe what the package actually does.

Pricing changes

A price change applies to new purchases and new subscriptions; existing subscribers keep the price they subscribed at for as long as their subscription renews.

Discontinued, not deleted

Names are permanent. Discontinuing a package ends new sales and new installs; buyers keep the access they paid for and installed copies keep running.

No hostile code

No attempts to exfiltrate data, phone home, mine, or degrade the platform. A package that tries ends the author relationship.

What is sold

A kScript listing sells access to a script, or a bundle of scripts, on the chart platform. Buyers pay by card through Stripe Checkout, one time or monthly, and the script appears in their library and runs on their charts; they never receive the source code or the right to resell it.

Fees and payouts

OpenMarket takes 20% of each sale with a $0.50 minimum, charged as one application fee that also covers card processing. Stripe pays the rest to your connected account on its rolling schedule. Taxes on what you receive are your own responsibility.

Where you can sell

Card-paid kScript listings onboard from the countries Stripe Express supports: United States, Australia, Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, Canada, Croatia, Cyprus, Czechia, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Gibraltar, Greece, Hong Kong, Hungary, Ireland, Italy, Japan, Latvia, Liechtenstein, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Malta, Mexico, Netherlands, New Zealand, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Singapore, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, United Arab Emirates, United Kingdom. Your payout country is fixed when your Stripe account is created and cannot change later. Stripe-prohibited and sanctioned jurisdictions can never sell or receive payouts, including Cuba, Iran, North Korea, Russia, Belarus, and the Crimea, Donetsk and Luhansk regions of Ukraine.

Delisted, not deleted

A script that has been listed can be delisted at any time but never deleted from your account; buyers keep the access they paid for.

Stripe's agreement

Selling by card also means accepting Stripe's Connected Account Agreement, presented when your payout account is created. Stripe decides account creation and identity verification.

Violations can lead to, in escalating order: listing pause, delisting, payout suspension, marketplace ban, account termination. Fraud (fake authors, fake buyers, stolen packages, stolen funds) skips the ladder. OpenMarket can remove any listing at any time; owed, clean payouts are still paid. Updated terms govern from their version date; the version in effect at the time of a sale governs that sale.

Problems go to support first. Buyers and authors agree to attempt resolution through OpenMarket before any external claim.
